GLORY was founded in 2012 after the decline of K-1 opened space for a new top-level kickboxing brand. Public histories consistently tie its creation to Pierre Andurand, Scott Rudmann, and the Total Sports Asia effort that acquired assets and talent from United Glory, Golden Glory, and It’s Showtime to build a new global promotion. GLORY’s lane is elite kickboxing, and for years it has functioned as one of the clearest “big stage” homes for stand-up specialists outside boxing.
